You have to follow some steps to get faster Internet. Here, we are going to discuss about- how can we use Microsoft reserve space with 5 simple steps.

  1. Go to the Windows search bar and you have to type “run” or “WIN+R” which is located in the left lower corner.
  2. Write gpedit.msc on the Window search bar. And click on gpedit.msc option. Now, you will get a “local group policy editor” window.
  3. There are two options available on the window. The First is “Computer Configuration” and another one is “User Configuration”.
  4. Now, select “Administrative Templates”. Go to “Network”. Click on the“QoS Packet Scheduler”.
  5. After the completion of the above steps, You will get “Limit reservable bandwidth”. Select it and you will get again new window. In that window, you will see in limit reservable bandwidth windows. It will be disable. You will have to disable.

When, you will enable it. You will see that Microsoft reserves 20% bandwidth limit for updating and more. If you want to get 20% more internet speed than exiting speed of your PC. So, you have to follow all those steps.

      Mr. Cobb, Sorry for inconvenience. Actually, I thought that if we say, 20X more means that it’s the multiplication of the 20. And if we say, 20% more means that it’s the 20% parts of the 100%. If we use 20% more bandwidth of existing bandwidth. So, it will be 20% faster. If it’s 20% faster then why can’t we say that it will be 20X more faster. If x=1%.

        Not even close. To make your calculation accurate, you would actually multiply by 0.20, as percentages are represented as decimals when multiplying.

        Your headline clearly implies increasing bandwidth by a factor of 20:
        20 x [existingBandwidth] = newBandwidth

        • So, 0.20*5= 1.00. means that it’s the 20% part.
